This Privacy Policy explains how Tactive (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit https://tactive.digital or interact with our service.
1. Who we are
Tactive provides Brand Defense Automation — an AI agent that monitors and defends brands across the ad ecosystem. Tactive is operated by Deeploy, based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.

2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly — when you submit a form on the site (contact, free brand audit request, newsletter), we collect: brand name, your name, work email, website URL, role, and any message content you choose to share.
Information collected automatically — with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (loaded via Google Tag Manager) to collect anonymous usage data: pages viewed, time on site, device type, approximate location (city level), and the referring source.
We do not collect special categories of personal data (race, religion, health, etc.) and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
3. How we use your information
- Reply to your inquiry or deliver the free 7-day brand audit you requested
- Provide and improve the Tactive service
- Understand how the site is used and improve its content
- Send marketing communications, only if you have explicitly opted in
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making with legal effects.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use two categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies — required for basic site functionality and security. Always active.
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager. Disabled by default; activated only when you click “Accept all” on the cookie banner.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the site footer.
We honor Google Consent Mode v2 — when consent is denied, no analytics, advertising, or personalization cookies are set.
5. Third-party services
We share data with the following processors only to the extent needed to operate the site:
- Google LLC — Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, used to measure site performance (only when consent is granted). Google Privacy Policy.
- Hostinger International — hosting infrastructure. Site files and form submissions are stored on Hostinger servers. Hostinger Privacy Policy.
If you submit a form, your message and contact details may be relayed to a transactional email provider so we can reply to you.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, PIPEDA, CCPA, and similar), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time via the Cookie settings link
- Object to or restrict processing
- Request data portability in a machine-readable format
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

7. Data retention
- Form submissions and email correspondence — kept while your inquiry is active, then archived for up to 24 months for reference, then deleted.
- Analytics data — retained 14 months in Google Analytics, then automatically deleted.
- Marketing list — retained until you unsubscribe.
8. International transfers
Some of our service providers (Google) operate from the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside your jurisdiction, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards as required by GDPR Article 46.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — HTTPS encryption, access controls, and infrastructure provided by reputable vendors — to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect when changes took effect. Material changes will be highlighted on the site for at least 30 days.
